Mayice studio

Imanol Calderón Elósegui (b.1979) and Marta Alonso Yebra (b.1980) founded their multidisciplinary Mayice studio in 2013. Based in Madrid, Yebra and Elósegui studied architecture at the Escuela Superior de Arte y Arquitectura. Working as a collective, they carefully study designs, presenting them as projects with their own personality. Together, they blend their love of the field with design, art and crafts to create contemporary spaces and objects.

Mayice studio is dedicated to product design and spaces. Its essence is in respect for materials, its history and functionality, from the first sketch to the final result. Mayice studio has showcased its work at Rossana Orlandi, Milan and ICFF, Wanted Design and Sight Unseen Offsite, New York. Their work has been written about in Metropolis Magazine, Elle Decoration,Wired Magazine, Surface magazine, Interior Design. In 2015 they won Elle Deco EDIDA, Best young Spanish Designer and Architizer Awards special mention.
