This hand-knotted rug draws inspiration from architectural elements, featuring carefully crafted forms and an intricate assembly. Based on a paper collage by Belgian painter Charlotte Culot, its design reflects influences from organic and brutalist architecture, conveyed through dynamic lines and shapes. The result is a piece with a distinct character, combining strong visual presence with a sense of refinement.

The collection of rugs is a direct extension of the artistic work of Belgian painter and co-founder, Charlotte Culot. We use her paintings as the foundation and inspiration for our rug designs, creating a seamless extension of the artwork itself. By transforming paintings into hand-knotted rugs, we aim to preserve the authenticity and emotional depth of the original artworks in this new medium. Rather than simply replicating the paintings, we draw inspiration from the artists’ techniques, color palettes, and creative spirit to extend their visual language into textile form.
