Morfa No.03

The Morfa series is the first collection signed by Lucas Recchia. This series deals with the way we see transformation of matter, in this case, glass, which is rock which then turns into sand until it becomes glass and finally takes the shape of tables. Morfa seeks to explore glass as a fluid material, using ancient and handcrafted techniques with solar power, expanding the sustainable nature of glass. Each piece is made by one artisan in Brazil from the cut of the glass to the gluing process, which takes 30 days to make a single table. This piece is not a limited edition, however, all are hand signed and numbered. The signature and numbering are on the inner face of one of the bases of the piece.
