La Bursch console
La Bürsch is Alessandro Ciffo’s new project, which consists of a domestic landscape composed of monolithic elements of alien marble set in large granite frames. All, of course, made of regenerated silicone. La Bursch is also the ancient way of calling a house in the Deer Valley of Biella, Ciffo’s birthplace and place of life, an area that links part of its history and development to the existence of a granite called Sienite. Ciffo, as he is wont to do, through the manipulation of silicone, his favourite material, and through a process of regeneration of the scraps from his workshop, tricks the eye and faithfully reproduces syenite, and as the inhabitants of the valley did before him, he takes it to Milan; in the past it
was used to make the pavements of the big city, today it is reinterpreted in a contemporary key to furnish the most prestigious homes in the world’s most avant-garde metropolis in the field of furnishing Bursch
