The collection designed by Duccio Maria Gambi is composed of three works that explore the relationship between two elements, a solid mass of reclaimed wood, with its imperfect and discontinuous material, and finely worked layers of compact wood that recreate geometries through their interweaving colour, that alter the original volume of the matter.
For this collection, a single type of wood from a single tree was used, a 5-meter tall antique maple tree in Turin, infested by woodworm, that as a result of natural disaster collapsed, and was subsequently reclaimed
