Matteo Cibic

Matteo Cibic Studio is a creative company based in Italy. In the past 15 years Matteo and his team developed products and creative ideas for international companies, private collectors and cultural institutions. He’s known as trans-media artist and designer for his objects with hybrid functions and anthropomorphic and joyful shapes. He works indiscriminately with industrial processes and small artisans, for luxury brands, collectors and hi-tech companies.

His most known projects are the Domsai terrariums, 10A clothing range, VasoNaso research into objects, and the Tim Towers in Rome. His works are displayed in museums, institutions and galleries worldwide such as Musee Pompidou – Paris; Shanghai Museum of Glass; Saint Etienne Design Biennale, Biennale Internazionale d’Arte di Venezia, Mudac – Lausanne; Triennale Design Museum – Milan.  In the last 10 years he developed special projects for: Becks Beer, Benetton Group, BM Group, Calligaris, Centre Pompidou, Coin Group, Enled, Furla, Gallo Calze, Gas Jeans, Gran Teatro La Fenice di Venezia, Hox, Il Gufo, KAKI Jeans, La Rinascente, LELO, MiArt, Miroglio Fashion Group, Motivi, Monotono, Museo Paolo Pini, National Geographic Store, Nespresso, NNL, PaolaC, Playlife, Sisley, Spizzico, Staff International, Superego Design, Thun. Matteo is an international award winning designer, and his work is published internationally. He has been awarded International Young Talent of the Year 2017 by Elle Decor.
