Bohemian pearl

In his Oracle series, Kiko Lopez has been exploring the effects of round concave mirrors that seem to look back at the viewer through the play of reflection. In Bohemian Pearl, the surface of the glass changes color with light and context, picking up movement in the room, and drawing the viewer’s eyes and hands. The seemingly “soft” edge of the glass has a welcoming tactile quality, as does the crimson-red pearl made from Bohemian crystal. The surface of the concave mirror and the pearl interact with each other and the viewer, creating an ever-changing palette of image.
