Black Seed Light Polished

Black Seed Light Polished is born from Vezzini & Chen’s continuous admiration for intriguing forms of seeds. Collecting seed for 25 years from across the world, Cristina takes inspiration from different shapes and patterns she discovers. Then, she implements these natural forms into hand carved pieces. Each lamp is unique, like every seed. This lamp is also an homage to the sun, whose light allows the growth of any living form.

True to their distinctive style, this project combines blown glass and porcelain. Made entirely by hand, each blown glass sphere presents different textures. Ceramic and glass diffuse the central light source, creating a rich interaction between materials and components.
