Animal soul large
The mythological creatures further lived in Hungarian folk tales and folk art, also in literature and fine art. Our goal is to transform the brand’s DNA into interior design through shaping the one of the most ancient material, the clay into ancient gods. The collection’s protagonists are inspired by myths and folk tales: The Cat God : metamorphoses of human to cat is a constant motive of Hungarian folk tales, sometimes witchy sometimes spreading good or bad luck. The Crescent Moon and the Sun-star: ruling symbols of Transylvanian folk art, part of the Szekler flag The mermaid is also part of Hungarian folk, in Transylvania there are many mermaid paintings in churches on the ceiling and ceramic mermaids were created for decorating the curtains. A strange figure in our folk tales is the “táltos” horse, which can fly and talk, foresees events, helps the hero in duels and in finding his missing wife. In the same way, the unicorn also appears in the world of folklore, it decorates the facets of Hungarian coat of arms and Reformed churches, and the one-horned winged wise creature is the icon and trademark of ABODI.
