Amethyst Chair

Inspired by the homonymous crystal, the Amethyst Chair is a stunning armchair by Von Pelt Atelier. Enclosed in a hard shell, its beautiful purple upholstery mimics the original configuration of the crystal. Precious gold legs elevate this artificial geode from the ground, completing the design.

The fascination with nature has always been a recurring theme in Von Pelt’s design process. The atelier’s goal is to create “nature better than nature”, to create the impossible. To achieve this goal, designers spent a long time consulting with craftsmen and technicians on how to create the perfect product.
