Aluminum coffee table

The table’s design was inspired by the shapes of ships and marine creatures, as the first piece was originally commissioned for an apartment located on a waterfront.

Three irregular conical bases, derived from the cross-sections of ellipsoids, provide solid support for the tabletop made of thick aluminum plate. Custom-made rubber pads placed between the bases and the tabletop isolate vibrations, so the table does not resonate during use. As a result, the table has pleasant indoor acoustic properties. The irregular geometry of this table makes it look unique from every angle. 

Each piece is hand signed and sequentially numbered.
