Arx OHV

The ARX series is composed of clean and stylised forms that are stacked in a nod to the artistic expression of rock balancing which itself is a nod to the ancient creation of stone cairns. The tension created in the composite form of shapes layered upon each other is both fresh and very familiar. The glass elements have been hand-blown with accentuated making marks: more bubbles, more ripples, more striations. These intentionally flawed surfaces create a wondrous array of playful reflections from the central lighting element that animate the piece from different viewing angles. Several stack arrangements are available and they are best used in groupings of different compositions.
