P3 – La gloria
Holistic stories of evocative memories in Kamarina (Sicily).
Kamarina – Southeast Sicily, where the archaeological site overlooking the sea tells the extraordinary story of this area, once the greatest Greek colony on the island, founded by the Dorians of Syracuse in the 6th century BC. A museum exhibits a remarkable collection of terracotta amphorae and vases.
The collection – KAMARINA XXX – declined in 16 monochromatic pieces in cobalt blue aquarelle, recalling the clarity of Mediterranean waters and symbolising the spirit and the historical memory of the location.
Handmade artisanally in Italy in fine white ceramics, the pieces in cobalt blue are reproduced using chromolithographic techniques, then retouched and finished by hand in the third firing. The sets include round, elliptical and rectangular serving plates, including a pitcher.
Due to the handcrafted nature of this product, small variations in colour, size and shape may occur. Not suitable for use in -microwave ovens.
