Stangiada
The ultra-modernity of ceramics is combined with the traditional art of Sardinia. A shape that recalls the Sardinian button, emblem of a people, with its meaning somewhere between jewel and amulet.
Functionality and decoration for a container for water, red like clay for the more traditionalists, or customisable in colour. These flasks, in a modern key, are a reinterpretation of the Stangiada of Frasku and retain a biscuit part in the belly while linear shapes in the mouth and handles with metallic colours.
Stangiada, a typical element of renowned ceramic traditional production, is reinterpreted with contemporary taste in the original version with glaze in metal colours and re-proposed with faithful craftsmanship in the unglazed variant (biscuit).
Made on the potter’s wheel with craftsmanship, a distinctive element of Walter Usai’s ceramic production.
