C(h)oral

This work aims to celebrate the strength of union and represents a living marine organism populated by thousands of beings. I couldn’t help but look towards the sea with different eyes, full of anger, curiosity and nostalgia, because the swallowed souls of my ancestors rest in that water. This work stems from that gaze, nourished by a multitude of questions and the desire to bring together the various pieces of the puzzle for the reconstruction of a legacy to be given to future generations. Africa is the cradle of civilization and the sea has separated the mother from her children but cannot erase the traces of their passage. This work therefore proposes a vivid and evocative vision of the rebirth of those souls, gathered in this branch and ready to be known by the new generations and their descendants.
