David Valner Studio

The studio was founded by the artist and designer David Valner.

It is a design studio that focuses on the creation of original utility objects and art objects made of glass and processed by traditional glassmaking techniques in close cooperation with a family glassmaking studio in the Czech Republic. Important aspects of creation are the emphasis on the main idea of individual collections, the reference to the glassmaking tradition of the region, quality craftsmanship, perfect knowledge of traditional technology and timeless artistic value of individual objects.

The collections consist mainly of interior functional objects, which are generally somewhere between a sculpture and a utility object. The inspiration for creating collections comes mainly from nature, but also from everyday reality, history or the craft itself.
