Clay Bench
The Clay bench is a singular object made of synthetic clay. Inside, it has a metal “skeleton” to reinforce the structure. This piece is modeled by hand. No moulds are used in the production, making this piece unique.
Launched in 2006, the Clay series includes spontaneous and naïve designs. Shaped by hand, these pieces stand out for their unusual appearance and their bright colors. Clay pieces figure in the collection of several important museums such as the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
