KAMA Unknown Shell

The pieces resemble a conglomeration of voluptuous female bodies and celebrate the wholeness of woman – a fantasy that has been blended from all the shapes that ever touched the hands or heart of a man. The entrance is like a mouth which you can climb into. Diving into the unknown, you land in the softness of the womb, feeling both like a child and like a man becoming one with his lover. After sharing this utmost intimate experience, there is no way back. Feeling like a different person your
only option is to crawl out through a little tunnel at the bottom.
Designed for the Trienale Museum of Design in Milan (IT) for the exhibition Kama, Sex and Design.

Nacho Carbonell

Nacho Carbonell likes to see objects as living organisms, imagining them coming alive and being able to surprise you with their behaviour. He wants to create objects with his hands, then he can give them his personality. Nacho turns them into communicative objects that can arouse one’s sensations and imagination. What he wants to create are objects with a fictional or fantasy element, that allow you to escape everyday life.
